This hypothetical project responds to the issues of the lack of play evident on the site and would bring joy to the daily life of the residents and surrounding community. Freeling House was used as a microcosm of the rest of the area and this intervention could be repeated elsewhere.
Remembering the forgotten playground
Disassembling the bottom two flights of the stairs in Freeling Social Housing in Redcliffe, Bristol and reassembling it in a lighter, more playful tectonic to reintegrate the forgotten memory of an ancient playground which used to exist on the site.
